Introduction

Supporting and being able to respond to the changing dynamics of governments, civil society organisations and other institutions are crucial for sustainable development.

We work with a broad base of clients, such as government institutions, civil society organisations, private companies/institutions, trade unions and professional organisations in the area of institutional empowerment. We design and deliver tailored capacity building programmes to support their reform processes, including legal transformation, organisational management, capacity building and change management.

In providing the external support that actors at local, regional, national and international levels need to be able to make these reforms, we also always take full account of their internal day-to-day requirements so that they can continue to meet the needs of their societies/target groups.

A Mission Proven and Thoroughly Accomplished

Preparing civil servants in Albania for a closer working relationship with the EU

We are working with the Albanian Ministry of European Integration and other line ministries to assist the country’s integration and alignment with the EU. We are strengthening the capacity of government officials as they prepare to look at harmonising Albania’s laws with those of the EU, particularly in the areas of justice, freedom and fundamental human rights, and security. A principal component of the project is to support the government’s communication strategy in terms of distributing information to the public and civil servants regarding the harmonisation process in order to encourage their support.
