On 14 and 15 November 2018 over 2,000 people gathered at the AidEx Brussels Expo, the world’s largest event for the international aid and development community. They were there to explore how technology can contribute to positive social impact in the age of the digital revolution.
The event was attended for WEglobal by Danilo Caminada, Head of Italy Office, who talked about how technology could be used to ease the plight of refugees in the future. Commenting on the event, he said: “It was a great pleasure for me to be able to attend the programme and to get the chance to meet experts from other countries working on socially integrating refugees, protecting their lives, and helping them become active citizens within their communities”.
