İstanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association (IHKIB) carries out the project “From Design to Production: Digital Transformation of Apparel Sector in Turkey” within the scope of the Competitive Sectors Program (IPA II period). Within the framework of the field visits of the Ministry of Industry and Technology representatives and the technical assistance team of the ministry, meetings on the projects were held on 10th June and 30th June.
In the project with a total budget of 10.4 million Euros, the activities carried out at the İHKİB Digital Transformation Center, which is expected to be the main application center for digital transformation in the sector, the Istanbul Fashion Academy (İMA), where digitalization-oriented training events in fashion design will be given, and the Ekoteks Laboratory, where environmentally friendly testing and analysis methods will be developed. All these places were inspected on-site with the Representatives from the ministry and the TA Team.
