WEglobal wins two bronze awards from the “Stevie International Business Awards”

We are proud to announce that WEglobal won two bronze awards from the “Stevie International Business Awards” in the category of “Company of the Year” and “Covid-19 Response”!

Our projects impact communities through new employment and job retention, improved workforce skills, helping vulnerable groups enter the labour market, building entrepreneurship through business support programmes; sustained environmental improvements, better quality public services; and enhanced governance and the rule of law.

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. More than 3,700 nominations from 63 different nations and territories attended this competition. They received entries from organizations of all sizes.

Stevie Awards’ judges said: “We love how you are impacting people’s lives in some of the underdeveloped countries. You are taking effective steps to enhance capacities in policy and the practical delivery of services. First Rate Work!”

Because WEglobal has won a Stevie Award in one of the Company of the Year categories in The 87th Annual International Business Awards, it has been automatically included in voting for the People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite Companies which is now open for voting at http://peopleschoice.stevieawards.com. WEglobal was also named a bronze winner at the “Stevie International Business Awards” in the “Covid-19 Response” category.

We established a “Covid-19 Crisis Management” group with a representative from all departments. The group successfully tracked all internal cases, contacts, travel, and actions while following the authorities’ notices of the Company’s operational countries. We immediately prepared ‘crisis response plans for each project, demonstrating to our clients how home-based working can be managed, resources monitored, and project activities planned and implemented using digital tools.

Also, WEglobal gives high importance to digital management systems; immediately following the start of the remote working model, the whole Company switched to the new model within few hours.

Stevie Awards’ judges said:

“Speed of execution, integrated approach, addressing multiple stakeholders, technology use, all have played an important role in your response to the pandemic, which was very inspiring for a company that has to provide project services to customers.”
