The Fikirfeza Youth Hackathon was completed after more than a month!

The European Union Sivil Düşün Programme, one of the valuable projects of WEglobal, completed the “Fikirfeza Youth Hackathon”!

The Hackathon, in which 466 candidates submitted applications, started on July 3 with 154 participants and 54 teams. The participants received training in digital rooms during the one-week program, which was carried out entirely digitally. They listened to inspiring speakers, met with mentors and produced ideas.

After evaluating the ideas they presented, the top 15 teams that will continue to the semi-finals were determined. The semi-finalists presented their work to the mentors, and eight teams were announced as the finalists.

At the end of a week with opportunities to learn, experience, be inspired and have fun together, eight teams had a good time at the digital concert and talk show with the participation of Pamela and Nilipek.

At the award ceremony held on July 10, all teams introduced their ideas that strengthened access to different rights. At the ceremony where Friederike Wuenschmann, Civil Society Program Manager of the European Union Delegation to Turkey, gave the closing speech, the award-winning teams were announced as Kekele TV, Pin-Go-In and E-Mücadele.
