WEglobal gets to the finals of the IPMA Global Project Excellence Awards 2020!

WEglobal projects continue to keep creating significant international interest.

We are very proud to announce that we are among the finalists with our two different projects in the category of IPMA Project Excellence Awards Small -/Medium-Sized Projects, which recognizes teams that display and can prove great achievements in project and programme management.

WEglobal got to the finals of the IPMA Project Excellence Awards in the sub-category of Change Management/Product Development/Marketing with the EU-funded project: “Technical Assistance for Increased Public Understanding and Enhanced Stakeholder Capacity on the Required Joint Efforts on Climate Action,” which was the most comprehensive awareness-raising effort in mitigating climate change ever undertaken in Turkey to increase national and local capacities for medium and long-term climate action towards climate resilient low-carbon development. Within the scope of the project, technical assistance was provided on capacity building through an extensive training programme to support the Ministry of Environment, and for a better response to global climate issues.

Moreover, our another project: “Visibility and Communication for Actions Related to AA/ DCFTA Implementation in the Framework of EU-funded Assistance Programmes,” which provided reliable information on opportunities offered by AA/DCFTA to Moldovan businesses, as well as practical training on how to make use of those opportunities, has selected as a finalist in the sub- category of Social/Regional Development/Community Service. The project operated an online portal and several social media accounts, as well as an Online News Bureau, which aimed to provide comprehensive and timely information on the implementation of the AA/DCFTA, as well as the latest opportunities under DCFTA.

The final grade (gold, silver, bronze or medal) will be presented at the Virtual IPMA Global Awards Ceremony, which will take place on October 31, 2020 (13:00 CET).
