We are pleased to announce that we have been recently awarded the staff training component under the SIHHAT programme, an initiative set up to help refugees and their host communities across Turkey.
Training for health workers is one of the 12 main activity areas of the SIHHAT programme, the largest EU-funded health project in Turkey. Under it, we are providing tailored training courses for 2,520 health staff, 960 bi-lingual patient guides and 50 public mental health centre staff looking after the health of Syrian citizens living under the temporary protection of Turkey. In addition to delivering an intense training schedule in many Turkish cities, we will also be enhancing the visibility of the SIHHAT programme through various communication and promotional activities.
