The Closing Event of Grant Scheme for Grassroots Civil Society Organizations carried out within the scope of the Civil Society Support Program, took place on December 19, 2019, in Ankara.
The closure event started with the opening speeches of Christian Berger, Ambassador, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs & Director for EU Affairs and Dr Hakan Ertürk, Director of Central Finance and Contracts Unit. Following the opening speeches, Act. General Director of Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation, Bülent Özcan, focused on the process of the program with his speech entitled “Acquisition of Grant Scheme for Grassroots Civil Society Organizations.” Also, the story of 38 projects carried out by the experts involved in the project was told to the participants.
“Art Concert for Development” prepared by Ankara State Conservatory Association, which is one of the beneficiaries of the grant, gave the participants a pleasant time. The program ended with group work on the theme of “World Coffee” where the development of civil society was discussed.
