WEglobal’s “Social Entrepreneurship, Empowerment and Cohesion Project’s (SEECO)” Kick-Off Meeting was held on January 26th, 2023, in Hatay by the Eastern Mediterranean Development Agency, the local partner of the SEECO Project!
The project aims for women and youth’s social and economic empowerment through social entrepreneurship, contributing to their social cohesion and creating new employment areas for women and youth.
The event started with the opening speeches of the Governor of Hatay, Mr Rahmi Doğan, General Director of Development Agencies, Mr Barış Yeniceri, Eastern Mediterranean Development Agency Secretary General Mr Oğuz Alibekiroğlu.
After the opening speeches, the event continued with the 2B Facilities Sub-Grant Agreement signing ceremony. The event aroused great interest from public institutions, provincial and district municipalities and women’s cooperatives.
